ABOUT US

srmARTconnect started as a passion to follow and support arts organizations that are making a difference in their communities. It then grew into active arts advocacy until I was ready to begin offering the most vital service - connection.

Whether it’s artist to artist or collectors and galleries, we assist the artists, collectors, buyers, designers, and event designers. We provide opportunities to meet while effectively and positively utilizing space in a “healthy”way.

Our purpose is to create and support pro-active projects for incredibly talented artists. As they work in the studios to produce their art, I help sell it across a variety of platforms - face to face, via social media, referrals to a gallery (that fits their mission), as well as sharing their vision locally and universally.

Sharon Moskowitz has been an integral part of Atlanta's corporate, non-profit events, and hospitality industry for over 28 years. The first pinnacle point of her career was when she served as the first Events Director at The Fernbank Museum of Natural History, where she honed her skills in managing large-scale events. Moskowitz's career highlights include creating events for some of Atlanta's most significant events, including the 1996 Summer Olympic Games, Super Bowl, and The Final Four. Her ability to create immersive experiences and bring together different stakeholders is unparalleled in the industry.

While building her career in events, Moskowitz also developed a deep commitment to arts advocacy and supporting not-for-profit arts organizations. Her work began in 2004 when she was appointed by the Mayor and Council as the City of Roswell's Chair for their cultural Arts Board. Her tenure there was marked by a focus on promoting Creative Communities and building art as an industry with an economic impact. This led her to establish srmART CONNECT LLC, an advisory organization that works with emerging and multi-level artists. Moskowitz's passion for arts advocacy also led her to serve as Art Consultant for Explore Brookhaven, where she promotes great experiences occurring for locals/visitors, bringing tourism and travelers, and metro Atlantans into Brookhaven for arts & cultural events and experiences.

Beyond her professional achievements, Sharon Moskowitz is a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She met her college sweetheart, whom she has been married to for 36 years while attending Oglethorpe University. Together, they have three daughters, three sons-in-law, two grandsons, and one granddaughter, with two more granddaughters on the way. Her 90 lb. English Cream Golden named Abe is an irresistible part of her life and is adored by all who meet him.

Each interaction brings me immense amounts of joy, wisdom, and pride. Everyone has a story to share.
